Subject: Rakhi Celebration on 30th August 2023

 

Dear Students and Parents,

 

We are excited to announce that we are going to celebrate Raksha Bandhan on 30th August 2023 with a variety of fun and creative activities. This celebration aims to foster the spirit of love, care, and unity among our students.

 

 

==> Rakhi making competition Grade 3rd to 5th(House wise in the respective classes)

 

==> Thali decoration competition (Grade  6th-12th ): Students from grades 6th to 12th can showcase their artistic talents by participating in the Thali decoration competition.

 

1. Interested students give your name to your respective class teacher on Monday.

 

2. Students have to bring all the required materials of their own.

 

3. The competition will be on Wednesday that is 30th of August 2023 Morning Second and Third periods.

 

4. Competition will be house-wise.

 

5. Two teams will be there for the competition. One will be from junior classes 6,7 & 8 and the other will be from classes 9th,10th, 11th &12th.

(Class +House wise )

 

6. The best l, ll and lll from classes 6,7, and 8 (house-wise)will be awarded certificates.

 

7. The best l, ll, and lll from classes 9th, 10th,11th, and 12th (house-wise)will be awarded certificates.

 

8. Competition will be in the examination hall. (For 6th to 12th only)

Two teams Red and Blue House team will be in the examination hall.

Yellow and Greenhouse teams will be on the side of the examination hall. (New room).

9. Guidelines: 

 i.Decorate a Thali with creativity for Raksha Bandhan. Use original items for the decoration.   Avoid using non-biodegradable items like plastic, thermocol, etc.

ii Brief introduction in English about the things that you will use to decorate your Thali.

iii. The duration of the introduction must not exceed more than 2 minutes.

 

10. Criteria of Judgement: 

i.Creativity (5marks) 

ii. Originality (5marks) 

iii Presentation (5marks) 

iv. Overall Impact (5marks)

 

11. Judges will be:- 

 i.Chairman of the R.G group of schools. 

ii. Vice Chairperson of the R.G group of schools. 

iii. Principal

 

 

For tying Rakhi:- on 30th August 

Girls have to bring 2 Rakhi, sweet and Roli for their brothers,  while boys have 2 chocolates for their sisters. 

 

Note:- The school will remain closed on 31st August 2023 on account of Raksha Bandhan.
